I left the store with phone’s I could still not use. We thought it was the network, but the girl in the store switched my sim to a new device and could make calls… 53 minutes on the phone with corporate support before he disconnected the call. Was told that they could not give me my money back bc the billing cycle had ended?!? Also, have had the service for 3 months and spent 2+hours in a cricket store this last weekend (on a family vacation) trying to get my phone to make and receive calls… My entire family had this problem so it was obviously not a phone issue. What?!?! So I called and complained and asked for money back. Come to find out, NONE of our devices can actually use the mobile hotspot plan that we were sold….
They signed us up with the 4 for $130 mobile hotspot plan. Was told we could “bring our own devices” and that they were all compatible with the network. It does have relatively good reception, but customer support is extremely lacking. I agree and disagree with some of the reviewers. It’s a perfect phone for those who primarily want to talk and text, with minor app usage. It’s cheap, it works, and it doesn’t offer blazing internet speeds. Overall: Cricket is precisely as advertised. Customer service: Cricket doesn’t have the best customer service, but for simple questions, they’ll get the job done.
